First time for everything!

Welcome to Your Humble Abode,

This is my first post! Yay! I've been wanting to blog for such a long time, but never really knew what I would write about. My life's alright at the mo, I have a lovely boyfriend, a great little internship in London at a production company, and I have a BA Hons degree in Journalism. The thing is I'm looking for a job that I adore. It's a tricky one.
With the U.K's unemployment at a lovely 2 million, the light at the end of the tunnel is teeny weeny and would need a giant magnifying glass to find. You know my point.
As part of my degree we had to create our very own magazine, and it took me a while to decide what to do it on. I eventually decided on interior design and named it 'Abode'. I absolutely fell in love with anything and everything to do with home interiors and gardens, so this is where it starts. I want to share my ideas, likes, inspiration and will hopefully inspire you in the process. Interior design might be the career I'm after.
